Boutique Partner Program
Program terms.
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Welcome to the Boutique Partner Program. These terms govern your participation as a referral partner. By submitting an application you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who can join & how the share works
Boutique shares between 25% and 50% of its commission with partners on every completed stay. We welcome partners across four broad categories:
- Travel advisors — IATA, Virtuoso, and independent advisors booking on behalf of clients
- Distribution partners — concierge services, niche aggregators, and curated OTAs
- Creators / content — content creators across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Substack and similar
- Editorial / media — publications, newsletters, and editorial partners running placements or affiliate content
Your specific share is confirmed when we approve your application. It reflects partner type, audience quality, partnership depth, and any campaign or exclusivity commitments. Top partnerships may also include hybrid arrangements — flat fee plus revenue share, exclusivity bonuses, or campaign-specific terms. Contact partners@boutique-homes.com to discuss.
How "Boutique's commission" is defined. It is the amount Boutique earns from the host on the booking, as recorded in our booking system at the time of attribution. We disclose the per-booking commission to you in your dashboard alongside your share, so the math is fully transparent.
2. How attribution works
Every approved partner receives a unique referral link of the form https://www.boutique-homes.com/r/<your-code>.
- When a visitor clicks your link, we drop a first-party cookie on their browser valid for 90 days.
- Any qualifying booking placed by that visitor within the 90-day window is attributed to you.
- Attribution is last-touch. If a visitor clicks multiple partner links, the most recent one wins.
- The cookie is browser-bound. Bookings on a different device without a click are not attributed.
3. When commission is earned and paid
- Commission is earned when the guest completes their stay (i.e., checks out). Not on booking, deposit, or payment in full.
- Your share is calculated against Boutique's commission on the booking as recorded in our booking system. Both numbers appear in your dashboard for every attributed booking.
- Bookings that are cancelled, no-showed, or refunded before completion do not earn commission.
- Refunds or chargebacks after check-out claw the commission back from your next payout cycle.
- Payouts run monthly. We pay for stays that completed in the prior calendar month, settled by the 5th of the following month.
- Minimum payout balance is $100 USD. Balances below the minimum roll over.
- Payment methods supported: Wise, PayPal, or international bank transfer. You select your method in the partner dashboard.
4. What you may and may not do
You may: share your link in social posts, newsletters, blog content, client emails, websites, podcasts, and presentations. Disclose your relationship (most platforms require it). Use Boutique imagery and brand assets we provide.
You may not: bid on "Boutique Homes", "Boutique", or close variant terms in paid search; use your own link for your own bookings or those of immediate family; run incentivised traffic, cookie-stuffing, or redirect schemes; misrepresent the product, pricing, or guest experience; send unsolicited mass email using your referral link.
We monitor referrer logs and reserve the right to void commissions and terminate any partner who breaches these rules.
5. Approval, suspension, termination
Applications are reviewed within 3–5 business days. We may approve, request more information, or decline at our discretion. We may suspend or terminate any partner at any time if we have reason to believe terms have been breached or the relationship is no longer a fit. Earned commission on already-completed stays is still paid; pending commission on suspended accounts may be withheld pending review.
6. Taxes and your status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of Boutique. You are solely responsible for any taxes due on commission you earn. U.S. persons exceeding IRS reporting thresholds will be asked for a W-9; non-U.S. partners may be asked for a W-8BEN.
7. Confidentiality
You may receive non-public information about Boutique — properties, pricing, partner cohort, performance data. Keep it confidential. You may share aggregate, anonymised results for your own marketing.
8. Term and changes
The program has no fixed term; either party may end the relationship for any reason on 30 days' notice (commission accrued before the end date is paid). We may update these terms with at least 14 days' notice via email.
